A.A. Reynolds

Born and raised in the UK, Alexandra (Lexi) Reynolds is a writer, artist, and aspiring comic creator. Trans, Enby, Queer, Therian, and all-round Creature, Lexi delights in the fact that one’s identity can change in so many ways and celebrates embracing the process of self-discovery. A product of their upbringing and reflections on it, they now reside more happily in Ontario, Canada.

Lexi likes to tackle how we as queer people handle and understand our histories. This includes how information can change perspectives, and how hidden truths about ourselves weigh heavily on our souls without the language to properly describe them. These themes of personal mystery and more are common in their works starting with their first novel, Overdue (to be published 2025).

Grace Reed

Grace Reed is queer trans furry trash, an actual professional deer, over forty, and never, ever not tired. She began writing in the Korps universe in 2021, and has been a copyeditor and graphic designer for MFBC projects since 2022, with her first published novel being Change of Heart (2024).

Mabel Ramona

Mabel Ramona is a trans therian mountain lioness woman over the age of forty, so she is, in fact, a trans cougar cougar. She has been in the furry community for more than two decades, and has been a part of the Korps since 2022, ever since Induction (2024) afflicted her with severe electrowolfinitits, and a fascination with the setting and the community surrounding it.

The Greysmoke series is her first serious foray into long-form fiction, starring a shameless self-insert going on a journey of self-discovery through the lens of queer supervillainy. Besides writing, she is sometimes guilty of picking up a pencil and drawing, and was somehow chosen to be the inaugural GOH for DVS 2023, a badge of honor she will continue to polish until the day she dies.

Runa Fjord

Born in 1982, Runa Fjord is a fjord horse mare and agent of chaos. Her life is a patchwork of fascinating events. She has been in the furry fandom for over 25 years, with a decade of that time leading and shaping a major furry convention. She is a queer trans woman, fursuiter, veteran, SCUBA dive mistress, lifelong board game and tabletop RPG enthusiast, and now author.

Dissolution (2024) is Runa’s first real work of fiction. She draws upon her own journey, and takes inspiration from the tales of others to explore new worlds through the eyes of her characters. Runa always seeks to see below the surface, to understand those around her, and to see beyond the simple facade that surrounds us. Be wary of standing between the mare and her current hyperfixation.

Bibi Heartsglow

An angelic elven fox thing who loves RPGs, cats and her wife, Bibi can usually be found on her couch, on Discord, or on her wife. Known also as “Vixie Foxpaw-Moondew,” Bibi has a long history in the vore community, where she met Syntax and Eight (her best friend) and Shyla (her wife).

When her besties started exploring the Korps universe with Induction, Bibi followed not long after with her OCs’ debut in the setting, Realignment: A Super Villain Korpsigin Story (to be published 2025). Along the way, she worked out a lot of stress about her dead-end job, self-worth issues and AuDHD, and fulfilled her lifelong dream of writing a book – and, alongside, Grace, editing the rest of the MFBC’s works!

Syntax Takes

Syntax Takes is a Zebra-Dragon hybrid with an appetite for rare gems, music, machines, and the occasional wandering hero. She began writing stories to share online in various fandom communities as a hatchling, but found her footing as an adult when she discovered the Korps writing community.

Syntax began writing Induction (2024) early in her transition, and as such, it draws heavily upon her transition narrative to explore neurodivergence, queerness, and self-acceptance when stepping out of the closet. With lifelong aspirations of storytelling, she seeks to explore the inner worlds of her characters, both their highs and lows, to find beauty in those who struggle to find it in themselves. In amongst writing sympathetic queer monsters and villains, while studying computer architecture, Syntax’s goals include world domination and maintaining a garden of succulents.

Eight Stroke

Eight “eight stroke” Stroke is a caiman enboy who deals primarily in pictures of the sensual, the monstrous and the exaggerated, and has been at it for well over a decade now. Born in the early 90s, this friendly and stubborn little idiot likes a challenge he can throw himself at over and over ‘til it’s overcome.

In 2019 he became involved in the Korps alongside his wife Syntax Takes, creating his own original characters within the setting and drawing up concept art for both of their projects. Today, he’s one of the MFBC’s cover artists, and an aspiring writer in his own right.
